Welcome to the first edition of Massage Moves for the New Year. We
hope that you and your families had a great Christmas and have a happy,
healthy and prosperous 2007. Since our last newsletter a new
therapist has joined our team, Veronika
who is a very experienced remedial massage therapist
Whilst the
nature of our massage services is for those who want a remedial or
relaxation massage in their home, we occasionally get calls that are
slightly unusual. Recently we had a call from someone who was proposing
to his girlfriend on the beach and wanted her to have a massage after he
proposed - we were more than happy to send a therapist along (& yes,
she did say 'yes'!) We've also done massages at dinner parties,
birthday parties and other events so if you have any ideas for a massage
party/event then please feel free to call.
Congratulations to
the December winner of the prize draw for a free 60 minute massage,
Brendon from Coogee.
Best Wishes Richard and the Eastern
Suburbs Mobile Massage team.

give their partner a relaxing/sensual massage with the knowledge that
their partner may benefit physically and emotionally from the power our
their touch or they may be interested in trying it out with a view to
more formal study at a later stage.
There are a significant
number of online resources aimed at assisting these people gain an

Glucosamine, Chondroitin and
Osteoarthritis |
 |
As an ‘alternative’ supplement, glucosamine is a rare case that has
gained some credibility amongst medical practitioners and the general
public. Either on its own or combination with chondroitin, glucosamine
is used to relieve suffering from arthritic joints such as knees and has
been advocated for athletes recovering from some soft tissue injuries in
the belief that it may promote cartilage repair. However does the
research support the use of glucosamine with or without chondroitin.

Ginger May Kill Ovarian Cancer Cells. |
 |
Ginger has been used extensively as a reliever of pain for arthritis
and migraines and is known to have anti- inflammatory properties.
Research has indicated that it may also have a significant impact on
reducing motion sickness. However, recent research has now added that
ginger may not only kill cancer cells but also prevents them from
becoming resilient to chemotherapy.
